The Journey

The Hillsdale Conference Center is owned and operated by the Charlottesville Area Association of REALTORS® (CAAR). It was created to provide a modern, spacious place where REALTORS® could learn, engage, and connect. This was a response to the growing needs of CAAR’s expanding membership.

Designed with Purpose and Care

A committee of members carefully chose the colors, furnishings, and design features that give the Hillsdale Conference Center its flexible and inviting style, suitable for all types of events.

The Meaning Behind the Japanese Maple

One of the most significant additions to the space is the Japanese maple planted on our terrace. This tree symbolizes grace, elegance, beauty, peace, and the fleeting nature of life. It also inspires our logo and captures the essence of what Hillsdale stands for.

Resilience and Renewal

Since we opened our doors in 2019, the Hillsdale Conference Center has provided top-notch amenities and a warm, professional atmosphere, not just for REALTORS®, but for the entire Greater Charlottesville community and beyond.

Although the pandemic forced us to close for over a year, we reopened with fresh energy and a strong commitment to safety, flexibility, and hospitality.
